Assignment
The Smallest Flyer in the world
2022
Description
The primary goal of this design project was to create an exceptionally intimate and personal invitation for the event. In the beginning of the project, the founder of the event (Tobias Slingerland) and I had spoken to create a way of advertising that spoke to the receiver in the same way as the artist to the audience. The goal of the event was to create an intimate setting to make artists who do something special visible. Intimacy played a key role in this event as they usually hosted club nights with electronic music.

The concept revolves around the idea that the least personal and intimate form of advertising, such as billboards, can be counteracted by embracing the opposite end of the spectrum. To achieve this, we introduce the concept of "The Smallest flyer In The World" – a riso print on a mere 10x13mm piece of drawing paper. This miniature flyer was carefully designed to communicate the essence of the event in a intimate yet captivating manner.

The result is a tiny yet impactful promotional tool that defies expectations and stands out in a world inundated with larger-than-life advertisements. The intentional choice of the smallest flyer in the world emphasizes the commitment to creating a personal and intimate connection with the audience. This project challenges the norm, encouraging a fresh perspective on event advertising and creates something memorable and intimate.
